My background is in photojournalism which is why lifestyle portrait sessions and candid, natural wedding photography come second-nature to me. No matter what milestone I am capturing, my aim is to create emotive, story-telling images that allow you to look back and feel the way you felt in that moment. I work hard to make sure everyone in front of my camera is comfortable enough to open up and let their unique personalities show. Honestly, the best compliment I have ever received was when a client told me they didn’t even realize I was there!

I am passionate about preserving memories so that your images can become your legacy. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to do what I love through serving and loving every one of my clients as if they were my closest friends. So much of our time together is spent getting to know you and customizing my work to create the most honest, genuine images. Creating lasting relationships with the amazing people who trust my vision is my absolute favorite part!

I can’t wait to tell your story!

If you’ve talked to me for longer than 45 seconds, you probably already know I have a rescue pup named Olive. She’s half Great Pyrenees, half who-knows-what and my best friend in the world. We love going to the dog park and hike all over the area. Our favorite spots are Chestnut Ridge Park, the Niagara Gorge and anywhere along Eighteen Mile Creek.

I have a degree in Professional Photographic Illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology. I invested in my education because I knew that this would be something I was serious about pursuing as a career. And, well, here we are! Education is extremely important to me, I am always learning and testing out new technology and tricks to adapt with the changing trends give my clients the best service possible. I also regularly attend workshops and seminars to gain new insight and inspiration.

I  have tons of experience in the wedding industry. I started out at the low-end of the totem pole over 10 years ago, carrying around lighting equipment for photographers before moving onto assistant-shooting, interning and eventually branching out on my own. In total, I have nearly 400 weddings under my belt! I’ve worked around less than favorable lighting situations, partied on dance floors with anywhere from 20-400 guests, bustled gowns, fashioned makeshift hair pieces when they broke, you name it!

I want you to forget I’m there. No, seriously! I’m not going to pick and prod at you all night, or tell you to stop to pose every five seconds. Your wedding should always be about you and your closest friends/family celebrating your love. Of course, I’ll be there to guide you through any poses with your partner, wedding party and family but the rest of the time my goal is to capture the fun! I’m always there, but never intrusive!
